An intelligent refurbishment and extension in Clerkenwell

A sensitive refurbishment of a typical nineteenth-century Clerkenwell building within the Clerkenwell Green Conservation area.The building was given a new lease of life with a fresh interior aesthetic, new corner entrance and new services throughout.

Personality was achieved by animating the building at street level with the introduction of two floors of interconnected retail space, with all new shop-style glazing. Four floors of office space occupy the rest of the building, including a new two-storey addition to the rear, and a single-story roof extension.
