Project Goals: This project is part of Project 180, a redesign of the downtown Oklahoma City streetscape, and it includes the renovation of Bicentennial Park located in front of the Civic Center Music Hall. Working with Planning Design Group we redesigned the 2 3/4 acre park to include sweeping planters with granite benches, walks and water features. Our work focuses on the sculptural elements of the park and include two pavilions, and signage for the park. The pavilions are two large triangular steel frames with stretched fabric canopies. The signage includes digital message centers showing information for upcoming events at the Civic Center Music Hall. Common Threads A. Ideas and details that will be in each plan 1.
