Brewerkz Park – where steam punk hospitality meets coastal dining
Situated along East Coast Park, Brewerkz at Parkland Green is Brewerkz’s latest and biggest flagship outlet. More than just a brewery restaurant; we took steampunk as an appropriate conceptual reference of Brewerks as a brand, where their new revamped identity and location is a reverie of them taking us into the future. Brewerkz Park combines the nostalgia of steam punk with the laid-back vibes of seaside dining. A destination for celebrations, Brewerkz is a dynamic background for all occasions, primarily a place where families, friends, and even furry companions are welcomed with open arms.

The spatial response draws from both its seaside location and green-land parks in the area. The steam punk aesthetic is one that is of "refined rusticity"– a contemporary reframing of roughhewn vernacular styles, creating a laid-back and tranquil present-day atmosphere. Throughout the scheme, our design was informed by the idea of coastal terrain, including metal and earthy elements.
Layering in LAANK’s ethos of a "gentler approach" the interior features woodcut panels recycled from offcuts that we handcrafted and pieced together conscientiously. The result is an artwork in deep blue hues where a daytime cafe transitions into an evening bistro & bar, blue and earthy tones link to the verdant park beyond. Coastal furniture were used throughout the restaurant, while custom lighting was designed to echo its industrial steam punk influences.

Natural timbers and mild steel were used for the centerpiece bar counter setting the backdrop to an ambience of relaxation by the sea or a lively evening of revelry. The result: a magic experience where coastal chill meets the pulsating energy of steam punk hospitality.
