The property is located in the villa district of Wroclaw - Karłowice. The clients wanted a house with high energy efficiency parameters and a simple form without unnecessary additions.

All energy-saving features were by far the most important for the client.The house was designed according to the schemes of passive construction -maximally closed from the northeast and northwest sides and open with the living zone and other living spaces to the south-east side. The clients' wish for a simple form od building and flat roof corresponds with the intention of a minimally invasive building to fit in with the surroundings.

The entire south façade is designed with glazing through the full height of the rooms.This façade provides a view of the existing Japanese garden as well as the river from the rooms on the first floor and from the roof which is partially arranged as utility.The other facades are finished with  Fibre C concrete panels in a uniform horizontal layout. This layout also includes the milky glazing of the terrace of the guest rooms which was intended to provide privacy in these rooms due to the proximity to the neighboring house - currently demolished.
