Successful partnership between Ceramiche Refin and Illy for the Espressamente Illy bars

It is precisely this attention to design that led to the partnership between Illy and Ceramiche Refin, a company on the cutting edge of world ceramic creativity and innovation, which was called in to create the floors in the bar, kitchen area and to tile all the walls in every Espressamente Illy bar.

For the Espressamente Illy flooring, the Visual collection was chosen, inspired by the desert and sandstone, chosen in the colour wengé.

Visual is a collection that offers designers a new essential and technical viewpoint, however inspired by the natural style of its elements and colours; clear graphics, finely defined to enhance its precious, sophisticated details.

Espressamente Illy offers two types of bars in 34 countries: Boutique cafés, located in the main streets of the world’s greatest cities, places where coffee, food, atmosphere and culture blend together to reveal to the world the Illy philosophy and the Italian lifestyle; and Premium transits, located in large airports, shopping centres and museums, offering a quality break.

In the first two years, 2011-2012, the partnership between the two companies marked the opening of many Espressamente Illy bars across Europe: Paris Bercy Village, (2012); Franciacorta Outlet Village Rodengo - Brescia (2012); London City Airport (2011); Louvre Opéra(2012-2013)

On the wave of its success, the partnership between Refin Ceramiche and Illy will also continue for the period 2013-2014 with important new openings planned, including Espressamente Illy Paris Odéon.
