An atmosphere of art.
HighEnd Jazz Club’s project is about the transformation of the original idea of what an audio and video equipment showroom should look like.
Once confronted with the idea of creating a space for demonstration of the high resolution sound equipment, we decided to create something that could go beyond that.
Our intention was to create a space inspired by the great Jazz clubs from New York City, with elements that are part of the Jazz culture.
The space was distributed between a bar and a stage, the club’s main elements.
The round shaped bar allows the users a full integration with the space, no matter what kind of event is being hosted at the Jazz Club. The infrastructure for bar and high culinary services was thought and located in this area.
The equipment was located on the sides, working not only as pieces of decoration, but also allowing the visitors to actually test them, being able to have a full use experience.
The chosen materials create a visual unity related to the color black, and a well thought lighting project enhances the seating and product demonstration areas.
The ebonized wood chosen as the main material creates a dark and intimate atmosphere, and together with the red velvet curtain, reminds us of historic international jazz clubs.
The space is located in the upper floor of a small building located on the main street of São Paulo’s Design District, and it is surprising, revealing a speakeasy atmosphere.
