A modular concept that can be placed anywhere in the world, Space of Mind can serve as a home office, spare bedroom or gym. The concept from Finland’s Studio Puisto was initially developed as a response to the ongoing pandemic.

With a mass timber construction using ecologically sourced Finnish wood, the structure does not have to be insulated to withstand the harshest winter conditions and provide a warm, cosy interior. The roof and exterior walls are clad with larch and standing seam galvanized metal or tar felt. Inside, flooring and doors are either LVL or Metsäwood.

With a footprint of just 10m2, the compact concept is versatile and adaptable with custom furniture attached to the wooden structure on rungs. Users thus have the freedom to tailor a spatial experience according to their exact needs.

Adding to its versatility, Space of Mind was designed to be lightweight so that it can be easily transported by crane or even helicopter to even very remote locations.
