The latest store design by KSOUL Studio for the YAMA coffee brand in Tay Ninh (Vietnam) reflects the energy and passion the two owners put into their product.
The new location design is inspired by the original brand of YAMA – You Are My Angel – and picks up an aesthetic familiar to the majority of supporters. Given that the city of Tay Ninh is in a period of modernization, Ksoul implements grey concrete to represent urbanization along with yellow, the brand colour, and a reminder of brightness and sun.
The refreshing industrial-oriented space features impressive light effects. Alongside the use of concrete, stainless steel cladding to the bar area presents a contrasting shine. The majority of interior furniture pieces were customized and produced for the brand. The stainless steel table in the yard, the couch, stool, and even a large desk on the second floor was meticulously arranged to satisfy structural and functional requirements.
The store is spacious and comfortable thanks to the lighting system application and installation of glass tile to absorb natural light from outside and highlight the yellow-coloured central area.
Yellow epoxy paint matches the wall block colour and a spiral staircase leads to the second floor, offering a spatial break but also still linking to the YAMA images located around the space.
