Bloem is the Dutch word for flower. A flower can say HELLO! without words, just with its 'face', its natural appearance it greets you :) As a designer i love working with simple honest themes like flowers, the challenge to make it abstract in an elegant way.
The Bloem!-chair is quite modest, it only whispers that it's a flower with its very modest petals and simple straightforward shape. The goal was to not make it too extreme but subtle. The frame of the chair can be cnc-cut from a flat wooden material. Bloem! is a comfortable diner-chair and happy looking side-chair, perhaps one or more will pop up and bloom in your environment one day.
