Breathaplasta UNIVERSAL by Adaptavate is a bio-based, multi-purpose hemp-lime plaster designed for internal use across a range of backgrounds, including solid masonry, plasterboard, wood fibre board, wood wool board, hempcrete, and lath and plaster. The fast-setting formulation allows rapid build-up while supporting either smooth or textured finishes.

Made without Portland cement, gypsum, or synthetic additives, Breathaplasta UNIVERSAL offers a breathable alternative to conventional internal plaster systems. Its vapour-permeable composition helps regulate moisture, supporting healthier indoor environments and reducing the risk of damp and mould. The use of hemp and lime also supports low-impact material specification, particularly in retrofit and natural building contexts where breathability, indoor air quality, and reduced reliance on high-carbon binders are priorities.
