BTM BituProof System has been designed to provide practical, safe, long lasting and economic solution for the basement waterproofing of attached buildings that will be constructed in city centers of dense housing and that will be rebuilt under urban transformation.
Since the foundation pits of attachment buildings are dug in vertical position and appropriate surfaces should be made available to affix the waterproofing membranes, these are more complicated than external tanking systems. Furthermore, it was not possible until recently to ensure that the membrane affixed on shoring system is also affixed on static curtain wall and to ensure complete adhesion between the static curtain and waterproofing membrane so that a complete impermeable system is obtained.
