The Case Volanti collection reinterprets birdhouses in a conceptual key, reminders of life in the open air and reinterpretation of simple and natural objects. Completely made of glazed ceramic, the houses try to fulfill a widespread interest, that of housing homeless birds in the winter. Their dimensions are identical and develop a maximum size of 15x15x15 cm, they are equipped with a rope and the cardboard box that contains them can also become a disposable birdhouse. Ceramic helps to offer a noble aspect to the object, almost surreal when seen as a grandmother's ornament hanging from a tree, it also has the advantage of being environmentally friendly, aseptic, easily washable and linked to tradition. Case Volanti can take on different compositions, from the single installation resting directly on the branches of the trees to the vertical one on a rope as if to offer accommodation in a condominium for small birds. Their random arrangement can become a pleasant way to set up the outdoor space even if the possibility of using them in other imaginative ways should not be excluded. Case Volanti won the Garage Design award at the Open Design Italia 2012 held in Venice, were selected by Promote Design with the relative publication Design For 2 again in 2012, received particular interest among sector magazines such as Ottagono and were published in dozens of online magazines, blogs and articles on self-produced design.
