The Charpai collection is inspired to the tradition of the East, with shades that bring to mind the colorful souq, markets of the old town with floors alternating with different colors of hand-knotted carpets overlapped in layers and walls covered with containers of fragrant spices. The processing of wood components is here reviewed as a simplification in essential forms that take inspiration from everyday objects. A natural wood version with mattress completes the collection.

Camilla Lapucci and Lapo Bianchi Luci, the first architect and the other designer, have been working together since 2002 to explore different areas, ranging from architecture to interior design, from art direction to graphic design. The different individual previous experience in prestigiousArchitecture firms in Florence have merged into a common path that has allowed them to begin an intense collaboration with the world of interior design and wellness dealing with architectural and interior design
projects at national and international levels. Each project is conceived through
a careful choice of materials and surfaces, volumes, solids and voids
in a mutual relationship. Concerning the SPA projects, they have received several awards and prizes, including the 1st prize in the Grand Prix Casalgrande in 2007 and a special mention at the Wellness Design Awards 2008.
