COCOON CHAIR

The collective ZE123, with the Cocoon project, will offer a new area dedicated to open spaces and small spaces. Cocoon wants to be a neutral place, a point at which run for cover if necessary, who is ready to join us in the current dynamics of life. A cocoon, shape, materials and technique, hides and welcomes the occupant so as to offer a new type of sitting. The sitting of stainless steel, tied with marine rope, shows the idea of a new Mediterranean design, that traces the history of handicraft. Cocoon denies the metal structure function, condoning the ropes. The steel become elastic and malleable. Aseptic, informal and neutral bend to human needs.
