Like all of Stone Forest’s products, their copper farmhouse sinks are hand-crafted by artisans. They are fabricated using 16-gauge double-walled copper, foam filled for vibration and noise reduction. This unique double wall construction on all sides enables a number of mounting options, including undermount, flush mount, partially elevated and above counter. For the single basin, the hammered finish is only on the front apron. For the double basin, the hammered finish is on both the front and back allowing for left and right hand installations. Stone Forest copper sinks are hand patinated, and like all other natural elements, it is a living finish so it will achieve a patina or “weathered” look with use and exposure to the elements of everyday living. The copper sink is made from 100% recycled materials, which are 99.14% pure copper (standard), and lead free.
