This year Freud comes back with a slight refining and becomes a collection, even a family, showing new shapes, starting from the “dormeuse” that favors singles. Freud, the sofa with the unconscious – that refers to the inside of the sofa that is revealed when looking for the best comfort - develops and introduces new combinations of colors and fabrics, to give an even greater emphasis to the double identity of this seating system designed by Mario Bellini for Meritalia.
Identity number 1: Formal, for extra-familiar conversations. And that means sober design with regular elements made of only one material and monochromatic.
Identity number 2: Familiar situation, parents/children, relax, reading, tablet, tv. And that means exuberant design, masses with dynamic impulses, two materials and two colors (even in contrast one another).
