Frøslev Embla® ThermoWood pine is Nordic Ecolabelled, thermotreated wood. The wood is gently heated to high temperatures above 200° C, while water vapour is added. The process gives the wood a warm, saturated colour and makes it extremely dimensionally stable and resistant to rot and fungus. Frøslev Embla® ThermoWood has a vibrant surface with a beautiful, varied knot pattern that looks great on the terrace.
ThermoWood pine is a popular choice for patios. It can be left untreated and will patina to a beautiful silver-gray color over time. If you want to preserve the wood's natural golden-brown hue, the wood should be treated with color-pigmented patio oil.
