The one piece 100% waterproof element is made from a 6mm thick, high-strength mineral material and can be laid quickly and safely on the fully installed Fundo floor elements – as an elegant alternative to tiling. It provides further design options for planners, installers also benefit from a quick and straightforward installation and future bathroom owners can look forward to the highest level of comfort while showering.
Beautiful look and comfortable feel With the Fundo Top, planners and tradespeople can offer their customers an elegant and high-quality alternative to traditional tiling for flush-to-floor showers. As the first ready-to-install, finished surface for Fundo floor elements, the new seamless element creates a stylish finish with a wide range of practical and functional features. The material always feels a pleasant temperature and is at the same time very durable, even wheelchair-accessible. In addition, it is antibacterial, dirt-resistant and non-slip – for a secure hold and easy cleaning.
Custom-fit installation and maximum safety As a 100% wedi system component, the Fundo Top has the already familiar quick and safe handling. The designer surface can be easily customised and can simply be laid on top of the installed Fundo floor element with the aid of the wedi 610 adhesive and sealant. After bonding the Fundo Top is evenly weighted for around 24 hours and the transitions to wall and floor tiles are then sealed with silicon – finished! Installation could hardly be any easier.
Plenty of freedom for customised design In order to offer planners, installers and customers the greatest possible freedom in bathroom design, the Fundo Top surfaces are available in a variety of colours and dimensions. Practical: the various Fundo Tops are always the perfect complement to the respective wedi Fundo Primo, Riolito neo and Plano floor elements. Customisable: both the Fundo floor elements and Fundo Top can be shortened according to the room situation, and with a minimal installation height of just 6 mm, the Fundo Top is particularly suitable for all requirements when it comes to design and functionality. Regardless of how big, whether square or rectangular, with point or linear drainage, whether in anthracite, beige, white or grey – the new surface from wedi offers the maximum possible design freedom for everyone involved.
