HODE reinvent the space and presents the moving kitchen LIU, created by the Designer Flavio SCALZO A combination of elegance and flexibility. Its name is LIU, its mission is to amaze. It caresses your spaces with soft lines and moving shapes. During the day it is a practical and functional kitchen, at night, light beams offer unique atmospheres. LIU is a kitchen created with elegant materials, which offers comfort and at the same time is able to adapt itself to the most difficult spaces still maintaining its extremely versatile feature.
Its name comes from the combinations and positions it can assume in a room: “L” when the peninsula rotates by 90°, “I” when it is in a linear position both in the middle of the room and against the wall; “U” when both the peninsulas rotate.
The result is a kitchen with amazing expressive potential, in particular in open spaces where its astonishing combinations become evident. There are endless possible combinations that can be created by moving parts of different lengths. Moreover, the “vertebra” elements add movement and versatility to the final results. The peninsula and isola items complete the structure in a new way providing a surface to cook and a nice convivial space.
The columna items can be used to place all the latest generation electrical appliances and can be display cabinets of different dimensions. High tech Micro LEDs provide a spread lighting, and when located within a “vertebra” item they can offer a unique atmosphere.. The materials are all light and high tech according to the philosophy of the project. The structure of the surfaces combines design and resistance and the finishes are catchy and can be easily integrated in both classical and modern environment. LIU is not only a kitchen, but a new way of thinking furnishing.
