ALADDIN is the latest product to come from EFFE’s long-standing partnership with Rodolfo Dordoni. The name conjures up images of flying carpets and the idea of weightlessness, the inspiration behind the sauna which has been designed to become a discreet, understated addition to the home.
What makes the ALADDIN design stand out is its uncluttered walls, available in either light striped oak or darker wenge.
The standout feature of the sauna is the mirrored fascia which runs around the bottom of the sauna both inside and out. Internally, this reflective band gives the impression the furnishings are floating in the space, an effect which is further accentuated by the soft, recessed bench lighting. Outside, the fascia reflects the floor, creating visual continuity with the surroundings. The benches are made with just two pieces of wood and their rounded edges give them a naturally elegant and comfortable appeal. The heater, the heart of the sauna, is clad in anodised aluminium which is a visual nod to the exterior frame in the same material. A platform covered in grès porcelain, a kind of raised - flying - carpet, can be installed inside, another distinctive feature of the design.
ALADDIN is available in two standard sizes (200 x 160 x 210 h cm – 180 x 140 x 210 h cm). Like all EFFE products, it can be made to measure.
