The Pacha Lounge Chair by GUBI is a low, generously rounded lounge chair defined by its soft, cloud-like silhouette and inviting comfort. Originally designed by Pierre Paulin in the early 1970s, it was created to suit more relaxed, informal living—encouraging people to sit closer to the floor in a laid-back posture.

Its design is built around continuous, organic curves with a fully upholstered body that looks sculptural from every angle, while feeling exceptionally cushioned and supportive. The chair’s compact, grounded profile makes it easy to place in living rooms, bedrooms, hotel lounges, or reading corners—either as a statement piece on its own or grouped in pairs for a more lounge-like setting.

Reissued by GUBI in a range of upholstery options, the Pacha Lounge Chair balances 1970s character with a modern, timeless softness that works in both minimalist and more expressive interiors.
