PLANITHERM® XN is a low-emissivity coating applied to clear float glass and intended for use in insulating glass units. The coating reduces heat transfer through glazing by reflecting long-wave infrared radiation back into the interior, while maintaining high visible light transmission. PLANITHERM® XN is designed to improve the thermal performance of double-glazed assemblies and contribute to reduced energy demand for heating and cooling when used in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
