Speedflow hand dryer from Mediclinics:
Dry hands in 10-12 seconds
Our experience in the development and production of warm air hand dryers has allowed Mediclinics to introduce the Speedflow hand dryer into the market. This unit includes all the essential features of a hand dryer plus a drying time of just 10-12 seconds.
Speedflow’s external design makes it suitable for use in the most contemporary environments. Also, with the aim of being functional for every user, the surface-mounted dryer does not protrude more than 100 mm from the wall, in compliance with the internationally-recognised ADA standard for creating barrier-free spaces.
The dryer also includes an automatic voltage adjustment, which allows it to be used at 110-120 V and at 220-240 V.
With the different usage rate that a hand dryer can withstand in mind, Speedflow is the first dryer on the market in which the RPM of the motor can be manually adjusted, so the air flow and noise level can be regulated to suit the place where it is to be installed. The client can prepare the dryer to be used in areas with a high traffic of people or in spaces where the noise level is important, such as in an office building.
An excellent selection of materials and components makes all of this possible without compromising the dryer’s safety. The motor and the heating element include a temperature regulator to protect it from overheating, which in the case of the heating element causes the entire dryer to shut down for increased safety. The electronic circuit board includes a microprocessor that monitors the wear of the motor brushes and once these have completely worn out, the machine will turn off for increased safety. Additionally, the dryer includes automatic detection of fixed targets, which will cause it to automatically turn off after 60 seconds of continuous use.
