Shelves and Wall units

Let the thin lines branch out in a minimalistic and graphic look that brings character to the wall.

”Up The Wall” is a new flexible shelf system from Bent Hansen that invites the customer to co-create. The shelves are sold in packages with one short and one long shelf that together form an asymmetrical cross. Assemble more sets of shelves as you wish and create your own unique installation customized for your needs.

Think outside the box Up The Wall is designed by the Danish Bent Hansen Studio, led by designer and owner Henrik Hvid Hansen. He tells that the design process started with a wish to develop a system that moves beyond the firmly defined shapes and spaces that characterize traditional shelf systems. ”Up The Wall is completely flexible. You can customize your shelving, because the design makes it optional whether you want to mount the sets of shelves together or separately.” Although a number of assembling suggestions are included in each package, Henrik Hvid Hansen encourages the customers to think outside the box. ”I hope that the customers will explore the possibilities within the design. Play with different compositions and create their own look.” Up The Wall is made of compact laminate and is available in black and white. Product info Design: Bent Hansen Studio Editions: White or black.

Dimensions long shelf: 740 x 290 x 6 mm. Dimensions short shelf: 600 x 290 x 6 mm. Material: White or black coated compact laminate. Price: 183 € per set of shelves
