Vesper fire lantern

VESPER is a fire lantern that stands like a column at the edge of a terrace. A tall, slender shaft of Corten steel carries an open crown at its summit, cut with a foliage pattern through which the flame breathes and casts moving shadows on the ground around it. By day the column reads as a sculpture, a vertical line of warm metal against the sky. By night the fire takes over, and the pierced crown turns the piece into a lantern that marks a path, frames a pool or gathers people at the edge of a terrace. VESPER is crafted from Corten steel and carries the signature CORTENYS patina: a living surface with warm shades of earth, amber and deep rust, where each piece develops its own hues. Placed alone it becomes a landmark; placed in a row, the columns draw a line of fire along a walkway or a water edge.
