The Annex is a neighbourhood in downtown Toronto and is mainly residential, and streets are lined with tall trees circa 1880 to the early 1900s. Due to a government freeze on development in 1975, most of the original houses still exist.
142 Barton Ave. was renovated in large scale, completely inside out of an existing house and built two individual dwelling units.

Each gap, due to renovation, was filled by a custom design furniture.
