A large apartment building in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, presented some circulation problems, as the original scheme was somewhat confusing for users.
We proposed to create a clean, open environment, in which color could play a big part in wayfinding. Thus, focal points were established, by way of large format high quality prints of natural themes,… framed by CNC milled bamboo partitions.
The spaces were defined by raised flooring and light bamboo ceilings, rather than by enclosures.
A CNC milled acrylic partition was also created to define the front desk area.
Color was used to enhance wayfinding through out the lobby, as well as in the pool area.
