A Vertical Campus in the Heart of Hollywood

Abramson Architects as Architects

An extroverted complex featuring usable indoor-outdoor workspaces and ground floor retail, 926 Sycamore transforms the underutilized parcel into a contemporary campus environment for the creative class. The 8-story structure offers 45,600 sq ft of creative offices with production-ready spaces designed for the specific needs of TV, Film, and commercial industry tenants. The compact design accommodates 352 cars on 5-levels of parking with direct building access.

How is the project unique?

926 Sycamore sits in one of Los Angeles’ most exciting corridors for both retail and urban lifestyle experiences, providing an ideal balance of work, live, and play. With walkable access to emerging culinary experiences, edgy art galleries and on-trend retail brands, 926 Sycamore’s upscale urban context adds a renewed sense of vibrancy to the Hollywood Media District.

Inside the vertical campus, floor-to-ceiling windows offer unparalleled views of Downton Los Angeles and Hollywood. Additionally, the offset floor plates allow for intimate terraces and expansive patios on each of the three office levels.

What were the solutions?

Previously hidden within the surrounding buildings, the site now boldly embraces its identity as an urban oasis. The top three floors contain over 46,000 SF of Class A office space atop a 5-story car parking podium and 8,000 SF of ground-floor retail space.

926 Sycamore's high-volume ceilings and large column-free expanses make it the perfect home for the most discerning content creators. The use of divisible office suites further supports the Hollywood Media District’s goals of attracting new media talent.

How does the property benefit the community?

The Sycamore Village Neighborhood is a high-profile location perfect for media, entertainment, technology companies. The building’s upscale urban context adds a renewed sense of vibrancy to the redeveloping community. 926 Sycamore also contributes to the local context by introducing 8,000 SF of leasable ground-floor retail/dining space.
