ACI World is “the voice of the world's airports.” This organization represents the best interests of air transport in terms of safety, efficiency, environmental sustainability, and an exceptional travel experience.

This long-standing client gave us the mandate to plan their workspaces on a brand new floor of Place Victoria, which they have occupied for several years. The goal was to review interactions between employees as well as between different internal teams. The ACI team was involved throughout the process, from planning to furniture selection.

The conceptual intention for this project was to represent the airport community but in a corporate setting. Our guiding principle therefore came from the world of aviation.

The reception area had to have the look of a VIP lounge. With its vast space with polished floors, the waiting area with marble carpet, and the glass facades overlooking the city center, it successfully recreates this atmosphere.

The woodwork beams, reminiscent of the illuminated aisles of an airplane cabin, lead us to the concrete reception desk, shaped like the tail  of an airplane.

Light colors with soft, airy tones bring plenty of light to workspaces and collaborative areas. Several other touches complete the airy atmosphere of this project: the open ceiling with fluffy acoustics in the cafeteria, the cloud-patterned wallpaper that follows the sun's path from dawn to dusk from east to west on the upper floor, and the small felt planes that visually divide the space.

Finally, the pattern in on the frosting of the glass partitions suggests tarmacs and landing strips.
