agenda austria’s work method is a joined-up thinking, creative, activity-based and unbiased process. the architectural concept is based on implementing this process into an analogue spatial network, that provides the different work areas with energy.

the work-areas are located in the non-frequented zones of the office - like islands that enable to work focused in small groups, as well as meeting, retreat and informal exchange. the idea of working with opposites is important to the think tank and is shown in the office design, for example: old layers of paint on the ceiling are a contrast to the white wall paint, double-winged doors and shutters from the early days are a contrast to the industrial flooring, vintage furniture is a contrast to the industrial shelving, high-quality workplace illumination is a contrast to the cozy light-bulbs. the design of the office clearly shows the think tank’s work-spirit of breaking out of existing structures and pointing out cross-border solutions.
