The project involved the concept of the Alitalia areas at leading airports, in keeping with the airline’s new brand identità. Currently, the work has involved the departure gates, ticket areas, check-in desks, self-check-in desks and fat-track routes of Rome (Fiumicino), Turin, Florence (in progress). The project capitalises on green, the company’s trademark color. In the new brand identità, this color becomes deeper, warmer and more elegant, confirming the carrier’s “Italian Style” and giving its image greater depth. Details such as fluorescent elemento, the undulating ribbon-like movement of the counters, soft hues and specially designes lighting define the character of the logistics areas. Frosted glass, laminated wood, upholstered furniture designed and crafted to reflect the excellence of italian design, brushed steel and mass-coloured plastic have been chosen to envoke the corporate concept.
