Amadeus, a leading travel technology company, engaged ID21 with the design of their new office in the bustling centre of Bonifacio Global City in Manila. This new office would bring together Amadeus and their subsidiary company, Navitaire, under one roof to build one community. The two companies occupy two different floors and have separate receptions for visitors but shared amenities for employees. It was important for the design of the new office to allow for different modes of working, through the creation of various spaces that were conducive for productivity.

All the walls of the office have been built on a curve or angle to mimic the shapes prescribed by Amadeus’s brand guidelines. With no sharp corners, the office offers visibility from all perspectives, making it feel open and transparent.

To save their employees the inconvenience of travelling out of the office for lunch, the office provides employees with everything they need in one place without having to leave the building. Amenities include – a large pantry that caters for food for the staff, a clinic, nap room, nursing room and shower facilities. A jeepney vehicle placed in the pantry has been converted into a fun collaboration setting as well as to incorporate the local culture.Their design also aimed to inject fun and wellness into the office to create a culture and environment that will attract and retain the next generation of talent. Employees can wind down in the game room or ride a scooter across the large office floor plate to their next meeting.
