Spanning 222 m², AMM Apartment, designed by VOA Arquitetura, proposes a pause from the rhythm of the city through natural textures and a materiality that evokes the warmth of a house. The project is structured as a sequence of spaces designed to calm the senses even before any activity takes place.

This transition is already announced in the entrance hall, clad in an earthy-toned mineral texture that functions as a contemplative antechamber, preparing the eye for the rest of the apartment.

In the social area, the handmade tiles applied to the floor set the tone for the project. Their texture evokes earth and establishes, from the very first encounter, a sense of warmth that guided the choice of the remaining materials and colors.

The kitchen and dining room concentrate the apartment's social life, in tune with the couple's routine and their habit of hosting. The cabinets in sucupira wood contrast with the ceramic cladding, while the custom joinery lends precision to the proportions and visual continuity between the spaces.

In earthy tones, the palette unfolds into complementary textures — wood, stone, natural fibers, and fabrics — that balance the rustic and the contemporary. Natural light, filtered through linen curtains, accentuates this balance and highlights the contrast between light surfaces and denser volumes.

The furniture reinforces this curation, bringing together pieces of Brazilian design with modernist influences alongside antique finds, preserving the balance of the whole.

The result is an apartment where urban life gives way to a denser, more sensory routine, built from materials, textures, and proportions that complement one another.
