The young couple asked us to transform the neo classical inspiration decor of the apartment in a contemporary and cozy place.
They demanded for open and integrated spaces, kitchen should be connected to living and dining areas.

They also dreamed about a generous master bedroom and bathroom.
As they loved wood pannels, suggested that we covered walls and ceiling with this material.

First of all we got rid of the walls that created separated and poorly lit spaces.
Kitchen was now opened to the social areas, creating natural ventilation and allowing sun light to cross the place.

One of the bedrooms was converted in a spacious closet, connected to the master bedroom. The master bathroom can be totally opened to the bedroom and closed by sliding wood doors.

Almost all walls and ceiling were covered with natural oak panels.

Reflected on the oak pannels, light acquire such warm tone, creating this unique sensation of coziness and drama.

The use of wood in some spaces such as bathroom - they had do receive special treatment in order to resist to humidity.
