The project's location, overlooking the picturesque Willingdon golf course and the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea, played a crucial role in shaping the overall design vision. The clients, who were particularly fond of the colour white, desired a home that would seamlessly integrate with its breathtaking surroundings. The design team rose to the challenge, crafting an immersive spatial experience; an embrace by a white cloud of light – a sanctuary where one can find respite from the city's ceaseless energy.
Upon entering the home, one is immediately struck by the clean and user-friendly layout. The expansive dining and living area serves as the heart of the residence, leading to a thoughtful arrangement of bedrooms, a kitchen, and the pièce de résistance – the sky deck. This strategic planning ensures that every room in the home benefits from the uninterrupted views of the stunning landscape beyond the floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
The design scheme is a harmonious symphony of white, where the marble floors, walls, ceilings, doors, and even the furniture seamlessly blend together, creating a serene and unified ambience. This monochromatic palette is punctuated by carefully selected materials, such as the concrete, teak wood, and black lava stone used in the bathrooms, providing a subtle relief and textural contrast.
