Businesswoman in the electronic music sector, with one of the largest international DJ agencies, the client sought out the firm to develop a project where she can feel at home, connected with warmth and tranquility, going against her busy professional life. Mother, with a 2-year-old son, designed her apartment full of works of art. Therefore, the same search in his travels, always references and connections with museums and galleries around the world.
- What were the owner's requests and expectations for the project and how were they met?
Environments integrated into a social area, providing connection between balcony, living, dining and kitchen. Client would like spaciousness in the apartment, where he could receive friends and family. An environment with a calm and cozy visual identity, an interesting point is the earthy texture applied to the walls and ceiling. The apartment has several finishes and natural elements, using rocks, natural and charred wood, vegetation, clay objects and ceramics.
- Is it construction, renovation or interior design renovation? If it was a renovation, what was the internal distribution of the property like afterwards?
Interior design renovation, the apartment has not changed. Only in finishes, joinery and furniture.
- Was it necessary to change electrical, hydraulic material, etc.? Specify the details and reasons.
There was no need for electrical and hydraulic structural changes. Lighting technician suitability only.
- What is the inspiration and conception of the project?
The earthy tone palette and use of natural materials such as stone and wood often seek to replicate the beauty and serenity found in nature. Earth colors, organic textures and natural shapes were the source of inspiration.
- Is there a starting point that you consider to be the key to the project?
Natural elements.
- Are there any previous features of the property that were maintained because they were special or at the request of the owners?
