I am motivated to creating inspiring spaces and buildings and have an ambition to contribute toward durable sustainable architecture and well-planned communities.
I have now been based off shore for almost a decade & have a burning desire to return home. I would like to ensure many years of experience gained, previously in New Zealand and overseas is shared and used to plan to well considered buildings and urban design/development.
As an architect registered in Australia and New Zealand, I thrive working in a creative team environment alongside influential, inspiring, clients, business leaders & councilors in order to provide the best possible built solutions for our community, economy & environment. An approach that requires foresight, determination, discipline, understanding and care, values I hold with high regard.
Having grown up in New Zealand (Cromwell) and lived in America, Australia, Germany and travelled to many interesting parts of the globe, I have been fortunate to contribute to many challenging projects of varying scales. I’ve worked with amazing architectural practices in a variety of sectors & absorbed a significant amount of experience, reinforcing my ability to adapt, learn, communicate & encourage/influence at a level necessary for innovative, sustainable building and urban design execution.
Currently I am based in Melbourne & have fulfilled an associate role with Wolveridge Architects for the last four years, in this role I have initiated new business, designed & managed projects across various stages with our team that has recently expanded & assisted with managing our office resource. In 2016 I was offered to purchase a share of the practice.
Currently I am building a home in Wanaka & will return to NZ permanently with my young family prior to the end of 2018.
Architecture is my passion, and I believe my education, personal experience and relevant industry experience reinforces my commitment and dedication to this creative discipline. I am ambitious, well organized and motivated to contributing only quality built outcomes intuitive with the New Zealand culture, climate and landscape.
