Belisario was born from the discourse of hedonism, a realm that embraces and celebrates pleasure and enjoyment—a catalyst for new experiences.

Inspired by the materiality and shadowy corners of cellars, this experimental project honors the traditional crafts of the city, including saddlery, pottery, blacksmithing, pasta-making, and the local gastronomy of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, all presented in a contemporary manner.

Geometries inspired by bottle bottoms and glass cuts create a sober, minimalist environment enriched by sensory elements: the interplay of shadows and textures, the clinking of glass on metal, and the reflections and shapes that define the space within the patio of a historic home in the city center.

The sensation of being both indoors and outdoors in a garden presents a compelling contradiction within the space.
Belisario actively pursues and promotes research, experimentation, flavors, music, and harmony. It is designed as an architectural exchange, engaging not just with a single reality, but with multiple realities that foster connections and relationships.
