BERESHEET HOTEL

MITZPE RAMON BERESHEET RESORT CHOOSES NAVELLO

Navello wooden windows in the Negev desert

Opened in summer 2011 in Mitzpe Ramon, in southern Israel, the Beresheet Hotel is a luxurious 5 star hotel that faces one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world: the Ramon Crater, a depression in the ground deep up to 400 meters that covers over 360 square kilometers in the Negev desert. Its placement within an important nature reserve has guided the design of the entire complex (belonging to the Isrotel chain of hotels) that for design and choice of materials fits harmoniously into the surrounding landscape.

Low buildings designed as a resort, with a central body and 111 independent suites with SPA, swimming pools and fitness rooms, that have as a key element transparency, guaranteed by the large windows tailored by Navello, historical company specialized in the manufacture of wooden doors and windows. To allow guests to enjoy a 360 degree view of the area, Navello designed and built 800 Novecento windows, of which 400 sliding over 180 shutters and 40 front doors with low-emission glass with high thermal insulation.

Maximum attention to detail and choice of finishes, such as double seals, installed on each window to improve their energy efficiency and sound insulation, double glazing and solar control, allowing to keep the heat outside the buildings in summer and protecting them from the cold in the winter, with less expenditure of energy for the air- conditioned building.
