Bitmain office space

Shirley Nachmana Architecture as Architects

Shirley Nachmana Architects Studio has designed the Bitmain Israel initial office in 2015. The new young office is an extension of the China’s main office of the Bitcoin Company.

Time past and when the growing company needed a bigger space it was clear Shirley Nachmana Studio will design it as we all felt like a part of the family. Together with the client we wanted to continue the young vibe and carefree atmosphere created in the initial office on one hand but add a bit of respectability and a dash of seriousness as a bigger company should have. The client wanted a bright lite open space with a touch of colors to define the public common areas.

The office space that was found was existing and it needed to be adjusted to the new company’s specific needs.

we chose to use the company logo and graphics displayed in the company's "mother office" in China. It was decided to print the artwork on a large glass that will be located in the reception area; from the existing graphics we drew the color scheme of the entire project. The reception desk was designed in white glass with a gentle black frame to compliment the colorful logo sign.

We decided to concentrate our efforts and budget in creating a welcoming bright reception area space that would make you happy you arrived and a fun kitchen-lounge -dining area, all combined together. These two areas and the corridor connecting them were planned to function as the heart of the office were employs meet, sit together, share a meal and exchange ideas.

Shirley Nachmana architects designed the wall papers, one showing all the different cryptocurrency coins existing today and the other as a peaceful promising horizon.

The meeting rooms were designed in different colors to create diversity and a sense of different spaces.
