The concept is to create a dynamic space that conceptually approaches the idea of a studio and moves away from the traditional office concept without losing practicality and functionality. Create a warm, serene and comfortable space. A space where you want to be. Find a more atypical way of understanding the conventional workspace following the Bol House philosophy. Ultimately, as its name indicates, it is to create Bol's house.

The space of about 350m2 is located in the attic above of an old industrial building that has 3 facades with windows. A single element structures the space. A large architectural cube that houses the meeting rooms, separates the work area from the kitchen and services area. We liked to convey the feeling of being in a single space without doors or large glass enclosures, more typical of conventional offices.

As it was a renovation of a space already in use, the first decision was to remove all the partitions and false ceilings to show and emphasize the industrial space and paint it white. The main façade that faces the afternoon sun, in the windows we find a paving enclosure which we wanted to maintain the work structure but removing the glass to have views. In front we generate a sliding enclosure integrated into the furniture supporting the tables.

The cube is rendered as a sculptural object. The ceiling does not reach to emphasize the concept of a new element placed in the space. The cube is divided into two meeting rooms. There is a main room and a secondary room for online meetings. The cube is covered in 10x10 white ceramic with a green gasket. The chosen color that accompanies us in the different spaces. Bol is a digital company that works with pixels and we liked the idea of transferring this concept to space. Ceramics evoke the world of pixels and at the same time provide warmth and proximity. A timeless material used in a special way.

The grid generates an architectural language, the steps of the door and at the same time, on one of the sides, a seating area. The cube openings also create a visual game between the kitchen area and the work area, bringing natural light to the dining table. The interior areas of the cube have been lined with green carpet. Walls, floors and ceilings are covered in the same material, giving a feeling of warmth and comfort. Acoustically it solves the problem of resonance and acoustic comfort.

From the access upon entering, the cube generates a hall that leads to the large work room. Three large custom-designed melamine tables in the color of the space are supported on circular concrete legs. Under the window some built-in shelves run through the space and support the tables.

A rest space connects the work area with the work area.

Hay's modular sofas are structured in the space along with plants and coffee tables… Creating a more informal space that serves to relax or for informal meetings.

The kitchen area is structured by a brick island finished with green microcement where it is a meeting point and support for the kitchen that is in the background of the space.

The most important piece is the central dining table made of work, a space of union and ceremony that emphasizes the concept of home.

At the back of the space we think of a large work stand that is used for resting, shootings or meetings.
