Celebrating 100 years in India, the former Bosch factory makes way for the new Spark.NXT Campus – conceived as a simple and elegant space that hosts modern corporate offices and R&D facilities, nestled harmoniously among the mature trees on the site.
The design pays homage to the former tall, iconic factory sheds by including a similarly tall, transparent, two-storey podium that showcases the central office courtyard behind. Few of the smaller structures on the campus respond suitably to the surrounding landscape, serving as reception areas and dining zones while also assisting visitors with navigation.
The project's main feature is a landscaped pedestrian square that connects the historically separate north and south sections of the campus by spanning the space above the road. Among the new office buildings, the 15-storey, landscape-covered BAN-605 is envisioned as a prominent landmark symbolising the campus's sustainable values and the organisation's identity in the new era .
Bosch’s patented monitoring technology transforms the campus into vibrant, attractive, and sustainable spaces that simplify daily life. By monitoring thermal comfort within the microclimate, the system reduces electricity consumption and enhances water management. The technology offers visitors real-time updates on parking and traffic congestion, while ensuring the safety of everyone on campus. Designed to be separate from pedestrian zones, the monitoring system provides live updates on vehicular traffic and parking availability at the entrances.
