A masterplan was designed by the architect for 'Breeven sport facilities' in which the various adjustments and optimizations for the proper functioning of the complex into the future were examined. The 'addition' of a sanitation building is Phase III of this masterplan that has a total of four stages. The existing sanitation facilities were located within the main building in a not so accessible place for the 1000 visitors who come every day to this sportscenter. By bringing it out of the main building the sanitation facility becomes not only highly accessible but is also available at times when the sports complex is closed. The first floor includes a multi-purpose meeting room and also a terrace from which you have a nice overview of the site and the sports complex Breeven. The client had initially a typical utilitarian prefabricated building in mind. By the designer this was translated into a sculptural volume.
