This plot situated next to a busy road in the Prague periphery is as narrow as a noodle. Its surrounding development mixes family houses, gardening allotments, and sparse panel houses. The new structure acts here as an aggressive sprout that tries to open a discussion about the form of development in similar localities. It has dimensions neither of a family house nor of a panel house. It is not an office building, nor is it a production hall. It is itself. It is somehow amongst it all. Perhaps, like the whole of Přetlucká Street lying on the boundary between newly formed blocks of flats and the remnants of an older settlement. Our building becomes an anticipation of what type of construction should begin to make a city, here and now. A solution of the object is limited by several important circumstances that are conditional for the architectural design. The need to keep a distance from the neighbouring lands and the buildings on them represents the main limit. As regards architecture, the new building is a single block settled along the street. The façade surfaces combine plaster and Cembrit panels. A play of the façade becomes crucial for the building. Tricolored cladding panels cover the bare top part as a veil. The building draws attention to itself the same way as banners and guide signs, which are products of the Bulldog Company, do in the city. The entrance floor is partly sunken in terrain on the east and north sides. The main entrance is placed on the west side, nearest to the entry to the plot. The service and garage entrances are located in the recessed part of the south façade. The reception and the accounting office are just behind the main entrance. Other spaces on this floor are as follows: the garage where cars are advertised on, the workshop, the storage room, and facilities (a kitchenette, shower, technical room etc.). The only staircase connects both the floors. A central corridor from where all rooms are accessible – the conference room, the little kitchen, the server room and the archive on the south side, and offices on the north side – divides the first floor.
