The topography of Les Ardoines as the guiding principle for an urban campus rooted in the post-carbon era

Les Ardoines is a territory undergoing radical change: once an industrial stronghold of Val-de-Marne, it is now being reshaped by the arrival of Line 15 of the Grand Paris Express. The PM6 perimeter, on the edge of the station forecourt, takes advantage of its steep slope to deploy a mixed-use development across several layers — from the lively ground floor, featuring shops and an amphitheatre, to inhabited rooftops, where atypical workspaces, fitness trails and a greenhouse kitchen garden unfold in sequence.

In between, two bioclimatic patios structure the natural lighting and ventilation of the ensemble. Timber, vegetation and the topography are the true architects of the project: they dictate its form, materials and atmosphere, making this campus as much a piece of city as a place of work.
