Casa 3 patios: in a land of 4 meters wide by 40 meters long, we developed a house focused on the experience of the exterior. 

Located in Merida, Yucatán where the hacienda scheme or patio house was the most popular typology throughout its history. We designed a 3-story house with 3 patios that create interior views and gardens that allow to have passive cooling of the space through a cross ventilation. These patios act as a natural chimney for the hot air to flow all the way up and out of the house. The gardens and the water create a micro climate to the interior of the house and the concrete walls provide shade and freshness to achieve the level of comfort for the user.
