Welcoming and vivid two tone essence

In the area Croce di Casalecchio, in Bologna the transformation of an apartment with a not optimized layout ended with a new spatial custom configuration that fits the simple and decided needs of the client.

We have focused from the start on the theme of the entrance characterization. It had big dimensions and was nearly unused. The project creates a colorful linear initial space characterized by a long wardrobe that overcomes the classic concept of entrance having a trade de union element that links the hall to the kitchen.

The two tone blue and white is the fil rouge that we can find from the hall, passing through the kitchen that has a top in quartz and blu color low modules, and arriving to the bathroom with its entrance. The division between entrance zona and kitchen is identified by a portal that connects living and sleeping area framing the entrance furniture of the bathroom.

In a neverending colorful play, where the tones reappears also in the bookshelf pieces, the functions remain but are lost at the same time and the flue is the opportunity to have shelves extending the kitchen and creating a perceptive filter.

In this space beige tone are mixed with green and oak. The apartment is showed lived and colonized by the client: the guardian and user of this welcoming and vivid two tone essence.
