Colle Oppio, a privileged and noble location overlooking the remains of the urban villa of Emperor Nero.
It is in this context that we intervened , on tiptoe, on the generous surfaces of a turn-of-the-century apartment with the aim of making it functional and at the same time familiar.
Master bedroom
A corridor equipped with closets on both sides leads to the private bathroom , while a large sliding panel separates the study from the sleeping area if necessary.
The kitchen
built and not assembled , by the carpenter @EugenioStichelli consists of a line without wall cabinets contrasted by 3 storage columns , in the center a large island with integrated burners and hood generates ever new paths and flows
Tops and backsplashes are made from slabs of Capraia breccia.
The two bathrooms
In a relationship of spatial proximity that also becomes chromatic - stylistic , they are designed with the idea of understated luxury, almost extra urban.
The quality craftsmanship of the glazed terracotta tiling , the custom-made shower crystals, the woodwork, the stainless steel faucets , give that value proper to what is natural, essential, authentic.
Corridor
A powder-blue cabinetry ( Grey Stone by @littlegreenepaintcompany ) runs along the corridor integrating in its brush-painted doors the access doors to the bedroom and bathroom.
On the floor, hand-sanded solid parquet flooring conceals
the radiant heating and cooling system.
