"Casa Isotta" is the transformation project of a small 35 sqm attic apartment located in a 1930s building in the heart of Rome’s Nomentano district. Thanks to a mezzanine level, every available centimeter is carefully optimized, turning the space into a fully functional home.
The original layout, with rooms arranged in a row along a poorly lit corridor, was completely rethought by taking advantage of the height of the space. Service areas were moved to the center of the apartment, freeing up the windows and creating a bright and airy open-plan living area. A built-in wardrobe along the back wall incorporates the staircase leading to the mezzanine, where a comfortable sleeping area has been created. The apartment also features a dedicated study corner and a fully equipped, highly functional kitchen.
The terrace, overlooking lush greenery, is fitted with an outdoor kitchen designed to welcome guests and reflect the warm and eclectic spirit of the homeowners.
