CASA MM

We were asked to create a contemporary and cozy project. They really enjoy hosting family and cooking. We created an integrated kitchen that opens onto the living room and also faces the garden, allowing them to see the children playing. The gourmet area is an important space for socializing.

The project involved both an architectural renovation and an interior design renovation. The façades were completely redesigned, modernizing the materials and forms. In the interior design, we also remodeled all the spaces to meet the client's expectations.

The entrance and distribution hall was the main element of the proposal. We created an integrating element between the private and social areas of the house, which had previously been separated by a corridor.

For this project, we opted for a neutral palette, with the various textures of natural materials taking center stage, such as the white Portuguese stone flooring, the palm straw used on the veranda ceiling, the freijó wood covering the walls, and other handcrafted elements.
The search for an interaction with nature is reflected in the integration of the spaces and also in the choice of materials that translate the surrounding landscape.
For the furniture, we selected Brazilian design pieces by Jader Almeida and Alfio Lisi.

New wood and stone façade finishes, maintaining the openings while modernizing them and providing greater privacy.

The entrance hall gained a glass roof with wooden slats, providing soft natural lighting.
The entire home theater is clad in wood, on both the walls and ceiling, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The living and dining rooms also gained wooden panels, contrasting with the existing white Portuguese stone flooring.
The gourmet area features a wooden pergola and a palm straw ceiling, providing comfort and freshness to the outdoor area.
The bedrooms feature simple and sophisticated wooden panels and headboards.
